"Knightmare was a revolution in television. Every quest had us fans on the edge on our seats. If you cant bring the show back on to our screens at least release the seasons on DVD so we don't have to relay on challenge TV for old episodes." -- John Solus
"Knightmare represents a fantastic and easily remeniscent time in my childhood, it gave me hopes, fears, stories and information. I always thought i could do better than the kids featured and i always had a strange and scary respect for the bearded host in a cloak." -- The Stunt Monkeys
"Can you imagine Knightmare with updated, powerful graphics?! That'd be the best show in the world. Ever. Bring it back. Now." -- Paul
"KNIGHTMARE ROCKS!! BRING IT BACK!" -- Susan "Madmog" McPherson
"Knightmare!" -- Dan Taylor
"The single greatest children's programme ever made (or at least, to my knowledge). There's never been anything like it since its unforgivable cancellation and there probably never will be. Your television set NEEDS Knightmare." -- Paul Bowden
"In light of phenomenal past and future Lord Of The Rings Trilogy success, there should be no hesitation in restoring the 'fantastic' Knightmare phenomenon." -- David Goldstein
" Even if the original 'Knightmare' can't be resurrected, the creative ideas and ideals are still as sound today as they ever were before. Knightmare didn't win awards and gain this fan following for nothing. If the classic series are ever released on DVD or similair you have a guaranteed customer here!" -- Andrew John Kenny
"In some ways, this extremely intelligent show is metaphorical for life itself. Some of us die early, some of us die late. But we all love actually walking the path. TV people, I implore you to bring back Knightmare, surely the best TV programme ever, and let us live again. " -- Will Darmody
"I remember sitting down with Dad on a friday afternoon to watch Knightmare. It was truly an ageless and timeless programme. I just hope that the new, more advanced technology won't detract from the original atmosphere of the show. By far and away my favourite TV programme as a kid!" -- Tom Pirson
"Knightmare was the best children's television show of all time. Possibly just the best television show of all time. Mere words cannot express its genius. I want to see a complete DVD pack of Knightmare, with a DVD for each season. It would be one of the highest selling cult television releases. Please please please...." -- Henry Dalton
"Knightmare was quite possibly the best kids show ever. I used to get so scared when the floor would fall away behind the contestant and still have nightmare's (see what I did there?!)now!! I've recently seen a few old episodes on Challenge TV on Sky and it's still as good as it used to be so I think the kids of today shouldn't be so under-privileged as to not have the option of watching it. Besides, I don't get to see it at uni because I don't have Sky. It would undoubtedly become as important as Neighbours is right now!" -- David Paine
"I loved watching knightmare when I was in my early teens and would still watch it if it was brought back!.Until today I didn't realise this website existed and I think it's great!! nice one : )" -- Paula Nicholas
"There seems to be a serious lack, in recent years, of television programming which encourages lateral thinking and can exite the audience the way knightmare so successfully did for many years. When watching reruns on challenge TV with my 6 year old nephew, it became clear that the old formula still works perfectly and needs no updating as, he and I seemed equally fascinated and exited by the exploits of real children thrown into a fantasy world of dungeons, dragons and impending doom. I beleive we owe it to younger generations to bring back this solid gold tv hit and rescue them from no-brainer scheduling." -- ash wilkinson
"I really hope that this petition is successful; Knightmare was one of the best children's television programmes produced. The ideas, the virtual dungeon settings, and the VERY atmospheric outside castle scenes were all fabulously conceived, as well as the actual storyline(s), which were dynamic and flexible enough to cover the almost inifinte player actions and possibilities that a player could choose from, thus creating their own difficulty level (unknowingly ;-), as well as being hugely entertaining. Compared with children's tv now, I'm SO VERY glad that I was a kid then, and could appreciate the show in its entirity. Even now, nearly a decade on from when I first began to watch ths show and be submerged in its universal appeal, I still love the show to bits. Please, please, PLEASE, for the sake of future generations of children, bring back Knightmare. Afterall, in which other children's programme are you EVER going to get the opportunity to fly on a dragon's back and dodge "real" metal blades, in the Corridor of Blades??? ;-)" -- Jackpot
"Knightmare was a truly magnificent example of quality childrens/teenagers entertainment. This wonderful show was an emotional rollercoaster filled with thrills and spills and edge of the seat tension which inspired the imagination, Nowadays I have to feed my addiction for this ultra absorbing program by watching the repeats on Challenge TV. As soon as I hear the starting music my heart is lifted and my soul is whisked back in time to relive those mind-blowing moments that came around every Friday at 4.45pm. But after my brief journey down memory lane is over I am left feeling empty again, as I have done since 1994, at the knowledge that I have simply been treading over old ground and that magical, tingley sensation that used to devour me as I looked forward with excited, childlike, wide-eyed anticipation to feeding my addiction to my favourite adventure will flow through my vains like TV herion, never more." -- Ian Lamoureux
"I used to watch Knightmare when i was a little girl and loved it.I remember hiding behind the sofa whenever their was a scary bit happening and had dreams about it too! I recently seen Knightmare on Challenge TV and those memories came flooding back. Now as i have more understanding of the game, i find myself yelling at the screen and really getting into it until the time runs out, leaving me wondering what happens next. Please bring back Knightmare, with more detailed graffics, more weapons and spells so it can be the Number One Family programme yet again. ;-> " -- Sophie Byett
"As a child, I was Knightmare every Friday on CITV. I would never miss an episode. It was, in my opinion the great television show ever broadcasted. I am still on the edge on my seat watching the old re-runs on it, and the programme really does scare me. It was much better than anything on tv nowadays and I am fully supporting the campaign to bring back the greatest show of all time." -- Andrew Love
"Finally! Fellow travellers along the path of truth, justice and the re-instation of Knightmare! A friend was trawling the web and found this site by fluke, he contacted me immediately with details; and here i am. 9 dark years have past since ITV cancelled my favorite show...i will have my revenge. (in failing that, i'll just sign your petition). Its great to find people actively doing something to get it back on-screen. Keep up the good work. J- 18-02-03 " -- "King" J Saxby
"I really enjoyed this series as I was growing up; having missed the Doctor-Who-hide-behind-sofa-moments, this program gave me some when I was about 10. If Knightmare was to return to television I would definitely make time from my university course to watch it." -- Matt Cochrane
