"This isn't just nostalgia. Knightmare was possibly the best and most original children's TV series ever created. Possibly one of the best gameshows ever created! It was way ahead of its time, setting the gameshow inside a fictional world and even making the host a character within that world. Like all shows that mix drama with real-life tension, the show was very exciting and had a real atmosphere of magic and wonderment. Knightmare was made back in the days when children's TV respected its audience. The puzzles were intelligent and genuinely challenging. As such, people of all ages could enjoy it. The use of computer graphics was, back then, pioneering and the show was extremely striking and original to look at. With today's advances in technology, it seems only natural to bring the show back, employing the latest techniques in computer graphics (I'm talking about subtle use, to make the world of Knightmare seem more convincing, as opposed to impressing people with effects). Surprisingly, following Knightmare there have not been any copycat series or high-tech gameshows that employed similar techniques; therefore a new Knightmare would still seem unique and original, and could be enjoyed by the new generation of kids who are unfamiliar with the show. Knightmare deserves to return to our screens. The new series should be based on season 4, which was the best of all the seasons, and given an overhaul. The new show should avoid being bright, slick, excitable or light-hearted; the appeal of the original show was its dark, serious, "olde world" style. The show placed children in a seemingly "real" and very serious environment and treated them like adults. This is why it was so exciting and so popular." -- Lee Rawstron
"Knightmare was an excellent show I still watch it on challenge " -- Shaun Wood
"WHat a great show. Should never have been axed." -- James Dyer
